It's the second week of school and we've begun digging into the course. We had our first lesson on how to describe lines yesterday. All of us collaborated together on miro and found synonyms for the words increase and decrease as well as adverbs to describe a line on a graph. At the end of the class we played an exciting game in teams of three in which we had to draw a line based on a description given by Ms. Disa to summarize what we learned about describing a line graph. I felt like the class was very interactive and interesting. Participating made me engage more and I feel like the game made it easier for me to remember the lesson very well. As a student I learned how to use the internet to improve my English in general, especially my vocabulary as well as apply the skills I acquire in English to my other subjects like in physics when I'm describing distance/time graphs etc. Personally, I learned to appreciate team work and learn from others' mistakes and also from what they do correctly. I think the idea of team work and applying whatever skills I learn in English to other aspects of my life are two main things that I think will help me in the future and also positively affect my ability to work in a team with people that I don't know as well as utilize whatever skills I learn as I grow up. Overall, it was a fun-packed and productive class which motivated me to enjoy while I'm learning and also engage or participate more in classes to benefit from them as much as I can. I can't wait for our next lesson so that I can learn more about line graphs!
