Blog 3.1 Views on the 14 day challenge ¬‿¬

Planning. Always planning. I always have been big on planning, always organize so you have things not all over the place. It is fun that is called a challenge. It is more of a plan for me but a shared one to inspire others maybe?

I actually needed another push to finally decide on changing rather return to the old me again. I guess when you push yourself too much, your brain decides that the complete opposite is good for you. In that case, do not follow "your rules". I had quite a lot actually. They could be done while having fun but smart me chose otherwise🤩. So stupid cuz now going back is taking so much energy. Sleeping exactly at 12am was one for example. I used to be super strict about them too. It felt like I had a glass shield to be honest. ( It kinda sounds sorrowful like my other blogs, sorry TwT)

Currently, this challenge is bringing back the determination to be determined. Wow we will feel the feeling of happiness of accomplishing the things you did not really want again. Nothing much on how I'm gonna do it, I will do it someway. Here my feelings about it again very exciting.

I fell asleep before 10:30 apparently so there is that, going pretty strong.

A Life of Monotony: The Same Day Over and Over

Every day, students around the world wake up to the same alarm, the same schedule, and the same daily routine. The day begins with the same breakfast, a morning routine, and a school bus ride to the same classes. It can feel like every school day is exactly the same. (These days it does)

The day drags on, the break can't come soon enough. The same evening routine, the same night time activities— nothing changed.

It's a life of tedium, where you're lost in a cycle of repetition and feel as if you're going nowhere. This can lead to feelings of hopelessness and tiredness weird enough .

This feeling of monotony can be discouraging and dull, but that doesn't have to be the case. With a little creativity, every school day can be a different day.

Days could all begin the same way: alarm clocks, breakfast, and the bus ride to school. But within those moments, there are small, unique choices we can make. Even if the day looks the same on paper, the experience can be completely different.

The key to breaking this cycle is to recognize that it exists and make the effort to break out of it. Change the daily routine, introduce something new, get on your way to experience something different. Taking the initiative to create change can make all the difference in breaking this cycle. (I will try this)

Constant change

As I sit here reflecting on my time in school, I can't help but feel a sense of nostalgia mixed with a tinge of disappointment. I feel like something has changed.

One of the reasons being the influx of new teachers. Every year, it seems like there are more and more new people who you don’t know. While I understand that teachers leave for various reasons, it's hard not to feel like something is different.

To be honest, I've always been a little wary of new teachers. They come in with their new ideas and methods. Maybe you won’t get what they are trying to deliver well. But as I've gotten to know some of the new teachers, they bring new perspectives and new ways of thinking. Which prepares you to something you weren’t trying to prepare for. Change of routine. Even though major change is part of my life and so many people’s too, it can be tiring. But a thing  to accept and adapt to, to continue.

The thing is, I think it may be my view for school is what is changing. That kinda explains the thoughts going through my mind.

It is crazy that our grade is two digits now, being a 10 grader. And this concludes my blog :3 Let's keep it short as it is~

AEP blog 2.2 "Some advices in my mind"

Hello, dear reader.

I'm sorry though! My brain has no, nothing going on..

I just remember what I wrote about yesterday or rather 3 hours ago. So I'm going to write about it right now as well. I hope you'll enjoy this!

Having to write my speech was an opportunity to look back and think about the advice given by my parents, seniors, people that I look up to, who are successful.

~I researched and collected information from everywhere, dogged everywhere. They summed up to be like this!. Lay back, sit in a comfortable position this is going to be lecture like, not gonna lie haha

I believe that I did not live long enough to actually appreciate the other told advice. You take the advice that applies to your life, that is how it is in human nature. If you think about it. I have some advice to follow along as you find your spark and bring spark to life.

Number 1- Focus on the things that matter. Let me explain myself, by looking at an analogy. Imagine a glass that’ll represent your life. You have golf balls, rocks, pebbles, sand. You need to make room for them all in the glass container. Now if you put the sand first you won’t have space for the golf balls that matter to you more. Same as life, you need to set your priorities because everything else is just sand. Focus on what matters to you, your purpose. And we might just add water which goes to show that no matter how full your life seems to be there is always room for some water- fun.

Number 2- If you want to achieve something. Start by,  specifying your goals. Making a schedule can be unbelievably useful. Okay so what is the rule with a schedule, it doesn't have to be a bloody prison. That is the first thing that people do is they say I have to do this, I have to do that and you know I can just play video games later.(I included btw, I'm acting like a knowing person but) This is a recipe to make you avoid the discomfort of the action. Do not stuff your day with a very strict schedule. Middle of everything. Dream big. But remember dreams without an achievable goal ultimately fuel disappointment. Start small.

20% of your day has to be responsibility and obligation or maybe more than that depending on how far you are but even that, you ask yourself, we’ll I got these responsibilities, what is the right ratio of responsibility to reward. 1 hour of work and 25 minutes of rest. You have to negotiate with yourself and not tyrannize yourself. If you hit it by 70% accuracy that beats the hell out of 0%. Hit it by 50? aim for 51% next week or 50.5% for god’s sake. Because you’re gonna hit that position where things start to loop back positively and spiral you upward. What you do now is going to multiply its effects in the future. So schedule, that is a good thing man, your brain will thank you for it. You write your own destiny. Remember that zero is where everything starts, nothing will ever be born if we didn’t depart from there.

Number 3- along the way you will never give up. FAIL BIG. Fail big just how sir. Denzel Washington said. Every failed experiment is one step closer to success. But fail forward. Do not make the failure stop you from where you're going. Instead do the opposite and use them as your weapon. Everything good takes time.

Number 4- If you want to be an elite warrior, you better get really really good at helping the person to the left of you and helping the person to the right of you. Because that is how people advance in the world. It’ll be the single most valuable thing you’ll ever learn in your entire life. Always offer a hand along the way, for a way out. Life is all about unity.

Number 5- Compare yourself to who you were yesterday, not to who someone else’s today. They may have started their journey earlier than you, nothing good happens overnight.

What do you observe in this following picture, for example?

I'm assuming it is either of these things:

B

13

Overlined w (wow did you really?)

I M (I'm)  (are you martian?)

~If I write A before it and C after it, what will it be? B.

If I write 12 before and 14 after it? Obviously 13

Your company will tell who you are. So surround yourself with positive people as it's better to live alone than in a bad company. Time is too valuable to be wasted on anything less than love, good vibes and happiness.

~~Make use of your POTENTIAL. You never want unfulfilled potential,  ideas you never acted on. Rise above it yall. Use what you got. The world needs a lot and we need it from you. We really do. :))

Lastly, like how Denzel Washington said:  I pray that you put your slippers away under your bed so that when you wake up in the morning, you have to get on your knees. And when you're at it say thank you. For grace, friends, family, thank you for mercy, thank you for understanding, for peace, wisdom. Say thank you in advance :)

~~ That is all what I managed to remember. I hope it did lightened your day and I hope you did not fell called out hahah.

Thank you so much! see yaa next time!

AEP T2 ~ Retrospective Blog

Welcome dear reader!

I hope you enjoy yourself reading my bitter-sweet blog haha. I'm writing my intro

after finishing my blog and it is kind of like an update about my life aside from being a

retrospective blog for AEP. A reflection went like this..  I hope everyone has rested well

and is ready to start the second term!

My writer brain is not functioning today ( credits goes to Ayesha for this

perfectly-describing sentence) Whereabout of my brain you ask? Beats me, I don't know

either. Let's move on though.

Let me explain: “It will take a concerted effort from many to lay off sneering and try

understanding”, this was not a problem for me, trying to understand what people are

feeling.. But understanding myself, absolutely not. I’m such a complex issue for myself.

I feel uneasy with myself sometimes, mostly because of my perfectionism, mostly.

I always try to be my ideal self, inadvertently pressing my emotions in a box and I did

not have a single clue that would lead to a burn-out.  I was like this my whole life and I

was doing fine, what can happen now? Nothing. But I was wrong..

All or nothing syndrome you guess it right.

You can catch me working all day with little to no rest or in my bed doing nothing with a

jungle of homework. They go big or go home, right? yeah no practice balance. It is the

way to go in this life, doing work all day is not sustainable nor doing nothing for

weeks.

Ah, a balanced life sounds like cheating but it is the secret for a consistent routine.

You have to stop confining yourself!

I know Miss Disa gets how I feel, reading my blog. Thank you miss, I’m always so

grateful..Strict sense of discipline did not work for me this time. I figured out it

was a call for me to back off and listen to my mom's ted-talk speeches about balance

haha. But god I learned in a hard way. I was unsatisfied with my horrendous

performance this year, I felt out of character but maybe, maybe this is the actual me.

Jokes aside, this routine caused a predicament. Speaking of scores, I was in despair

but there as a discrepancy in what I expected to get and what I got. Thank god

numerically speaking the damage wasn’t that destructive. I learnt so much this year.

You don’t realize how big of a damage you caused until.. until something like this happens.

You can't foresee. Such a vexing blunder.

Surprisingly I feel motivated, energized and it feels like I recharged. Looking back

I was profoundly happy and energetic. I was a bit off for my mom though, I guess so

because she is used to see me studying. Stop willy-dallying for a while and rest/back off

for the sake of god.

Going back to the actually topic HAHA

The spotlight has to go to

Writing IELTS graph essays!

I'm not really home with English. But the feeling after writing an essay or a form of

writing and feeling proud of it makes me love English classes more. The type of

essay we learnt in AEP had to be descriptive and they had to have a specific

structure and vocabulary to end with. Which I'm not used to, but thanks to AEP now

I'm aware of this genre and way of writing. It really does expand your

English and you become more flexible. I find myself a little more confident with my

recent essay structure than the ones I started with. I have improved in many

aspects of writing that essay of that sort.

Padlet/ exit ticket

I always feel the need to say I love doing padlets in AEP classes. It is my favoritepart of our creative AEP classes. Being an artist and hearing this probably makesMiss Disa happy. It has to be said it is one of a kind. Even if exit tickets are short, it allows a room for reflection. Also who said it needs to be short? If you have more to say, go for it! The Padlet allows me to remember what I laughed atin the class, what challenged me or what I have done, in other words my progress.I love the variety of AEP classes!

Word games!

I Love the simplicity of them. It is a way to check if your brain cells are still there.

It is challenging to shift and make your brain go from biology to English.

It has something to do with the education system. But I appreciate the clever idea

of starting with a 2 minute or 5 haha word game, not any other game but a word game

( it is like an irony that it is somehow about English, but it works) it helps brushing off!

I would like to take this golden opportunity and recommend to you I'll be there-

Detective Conan and Tobitatsu Hato. It is such a masterpiece and I still cannot believe

that it is made for an anime. It sounds like a prestigious music composer made it.

I'm 100% confident that you'll love it miss haha

All detective Conan ost, music, AND SOUNDTRACKS are going to get you out of your

wits, absolutely recommend checking their jazz. Goosebumps, just think about it.

It is your cup of tea miss Disa! Count on me.

Welcome back backaches? HAHAH NO WELCOME TO A NEW SCHOOL YEAR

This year feels more challenging than last year even though we haven't discussed much yet. I was relaxed and it did not last long, I had to wake up from this fairy-tale haha. Almost everyday’s routine: we wake up, get to the class and finish the day with a pile of homework, a jungle. Then we take a nap, wake up and study all day. Studying is fun I loveee learning but if there are many assignments and tasks assigned nouurrr I’m sorry ma’am. It is also my fault because I tend to overwork myself till I’m burnt out and grumpy.

We started with a very bold activity for this year’s AEP class. I got to play with Iara on lexulous which was very entertaining and exciting. Since we only had one class the first day we were able to do this much. It was not surprising or different from last year for me, still stuck on my chair, in a very little space to relax my legs. However, arguably it was a big change for my classmates, shifting from online to face-to-face is not easy. To be honest, I feel pressured a lot these days.

Alisa and Huda seem like fun characters and I’m very happy that they joined us in the girl squad( still there is fahad he acts like one of us anyway). I appreciate Miss Disa’s efforts so much, thank you miss! It is so adorable to see your daily struggles. You want us to be comfortable and included, thank you! One of the greatest feelings in this world is the feeling of being cared off. So in our second meeting we worked in Miro which was the most wonderful experience. We chatted all together. It felt like I was in class. I’m a chatterbox in real life too(even though I don't talk a lot in class) so I enjoyed this brilliant idea the most hahah.

In our third session we challenged our vocabulary, trying to find the right words for lines used in graphs. Definitely helped my vocabulary. It was so fun to read my classmates' answers and to put them in the “hospital” which was oddly satisfying. I love seeing everything organized hahah. In our last meeting we played in the worldle cup game almost the whole session as a slow turtle. We did look at an amazing essay example which was very similar to my essay! Felt assuaged phew!

Exercising experience

My exercising journey started when I was 8, I guess. I know it might be too early for somebody out there! In our house we used to have a treadmill which was used by mom back then. I would see my mom running and sometimes walking using it. She would do that usually in the weekends because of her job, her job was teaching so she would wake up early like us and drive to school.

One day I decided to use that too because I was little cubby than I used to. And when I told my mom she was surprised and shocked by that. I started to use the shoes and clothes of my mom even I have one through. I think it motivated me to do so. When my father drive to home and be back after his work he would clap and make me laugh while walking on the treadmill. I was a child that is so energetic and hyped. I would talk probably to much and play with all of my cousins and sister.

And currently, I'm working out in home because of the quarantine. It is going good so far. I love to add weights on my workouts because it is more challenging and exciting. For now I want to build on more muscles. I started to exercise with weight before 3 months ago and it makes me feel so much stronger and energized. Before 5 years ago I would wake up early to run in our apartment before our family breakfast which was a really sweet memories but some times annoying. It is hard to shut the alarm you know ! I think that exercising contributed to my mental and physical health. Sweating and getting movement in after a long session of online classes is the best thing I can do to feel relieved!

I learned that every body is a miracle. It is our shelter that we depend on, and it depend on us too. We should do things that makes our body feels good and healthy. Movement may be difficult sometimes but the feeling at the end of the workout made it so worth it! The future should be bright after corona. Movement really does help you to clear your mind and be happy because of the Depamine hormone. It will always help me now and in the future of course. Hopefully, this habit will stay with me to make my day bright and energetic after the strokes that sitting online made :)

Exercising is a hobby that makes people energetic, strong and happy. The feeling in the end makes everything worth it!
