Every day, students around the world wake up to the same alarm, the same schedule, and the same daily routine. The day begins with the same breakfast, a morning routine, and a school bus ride to the same classes. It can feel like every school day is exactly the same. (These days it does)
The day drags on, the break can't come soon enough. The same evening routine, the same night time activities— nothing changed.
It's a life of tedium, where you're lost in a cycle of repetition and feel as if you're going nowhere. This can lead to feelings of hopelessness and tiredness weird enough .
This feeling of monotony can be discouraging and dull, but that doesn't have to be the case. With a little creativity, every school day can be a different day.
Days could all begin the same way: alarm clocks, breakfast, and the bus ride to school. But within those moments, there are small, unique choices we can make. Even if the day looks the same on paper, the experience can be completely different.
The key to breaking this cycle is to recognize that it exists and make the effort to break out of it. Change the daily routine, introduce something new, get on your way to experience something different. Taking the initiative to create change can make all the difference in breaking this cycle. (I will try this)
I felt this way during the pandemic. I felt angry that everything I loved had been taken away for me. I almost took it personally, I felt I was being punished for some crime I didn't commit and I was angry.I couldn't breath freely, I wasn't allowed to run, I couldn't travel, I couldn't visit my family...my life was being dictated by idiots that I didn't even know. So how did I cope? I focused on the things I could change, what I did, what I thought. I grew Basil, I made videos, I focused on the internal me, I made lists of things, I fixed the house, painted the house, spent time with my cats and dogs and wrote to my friends. I called old friends and reached out ...we should never chase what we don't have.It will only cause great pain.We should look at what we have...and if things are quiet then plan for the war, plan for the party, grow the woman that you will one day be...nothing lasts for ever...you may look back one day at this time and wonder why you wasted such opportunities....💞💞💞
