It’s nearly the end of half-term for term 3! Surprisingly, so much has happened this half-term and I wouldn’t have it in any other way.
Starting off, right after we finished our finals we had a camping trip which was a nice and relaxing getaway for us as we had just finished taking our last paper the day before. Before that, we had been given a task by Ms Disa to continue our 14-days challenge during our trip and to be truly honest, it was very challenging for me to keep track and remember to write my game plan and results as I was too focused on the tasks given to me during the camp(I struggle a lot in multi-tasking).
To recap on how the trip went, I would say that I had so much fun on the first day as we got a lot of rest on the bus(even though it was quite uncomfortable but nonetheless I had a lovely seat mate) and the activities were thrilling, I enjoyed working with other year groups :)) To end the first day off, we quickly washed up and I watched the sunset a bit before heading to dinner. After that, we had a bonfire and let me just say, that evening was incredible. Grade 10s sat under the stars and due to the lack of light, I could see many constellations. It truly magical! After reading appreciative letter to each other, we headed off to bed.
14-day challenge!! The first 5 days were pretty challenging to me in remembering to write my game plan and results as it was already a habit to get used to the challenge but as time went by, I managed to keep up in writing my plan in the morning but somehow, I couldn’t seem to remind myself to do the results at 7pm. I would say that I was quite successful with the challenge as I believe I missed like 1 or 2 days and I also slightly fixed my sleeping.
