On Tuesday, February 14, Ms Disa announced that we would start the challenge the next day. It went well for precisely 2 days before I missed my first morning and after that, it just went south. Even though I did very poorly, still I think that I still learnt something.
When I get up in the morning, I usually have my breakfast and scroll through memes but with the introduction of the 14-day challenge I started writing down what I'd do for the day. Even though what I wrote was very little, which it was designed to be, it meant that I was already thinking about the day ahead rather than letting it catch me off. Sometimes it would remind me that I had to bring specific things to school.
Reflecting on how I did according to what I set out to accomplish in a day proved to be helpful. Most of the time when a day is over I only look to the following one, but now I had to recall what I did which makes the day feel full rather than all of it blending into one.
In conclusion, the 14-day challenge may have been a messy experience,
but it still provided some valuable lessons. Despite struggling to keep
up with the challenge, I learned the importance of planning out
the day in advance and reflecting on what I did at the end
of the day. These new habits helped to make the day feel full. While
this challenge was not completely successful, it's important to take away the positive lessons it thought me.
Good, thanks for the feedback. It is very difficult to cultivate good habits and its good that you realise this. First thing is identifying bad ones...I'm not perfect and I struggle with making myself excercise and stop scrolling
ReplyDeleteWe all choose the easy path now and then but life is about struggling to find our strength of spirit. I'm happy you felt as if you achieved something.
